Thursday, March 2nd.

All students set up their exhibits between 6:30 and 9:30 PM.  Students who are competing in the Aardvark Science Exposition must have their exhibits approved for competition by the Display and Safety Committee (DSC) before leaving Thursday night.  Competitors who are not approved Thursday night must come in the following morning at 6:00 A.M. to correct problems indicated by the DSC.

Friday, March 3rd.

SPARC will open at 6:00A.M.  Competitors who have not been approved by the DSC correct their problems and receive DSC clearance at that time; students who need to pass DSC who are not present at 6:00 A.M. are not guaranteed additional DSC consideration on Friday morning.  All competitors must be cleared for competition by the DSC by 7:15 A.M.  Any competitor who has not received DSC approval by 7:15 AM will be reassigned to the non-judged category and his or her exhibit moved to that category.

1:30pm - 2:50pm        /    Judges interview Discover Science Challenge candidates (MS)

                                        MS students released at 2:50 at the latest

6:00pm - 7:00pm        /    Dinner for judges - All HS and MS judges welcome

7:00 PM                     /    Students stand with their exhibits

7:00pm - 8:00pm        /    OES Science Fair open to the public

8:00pm                       /    Awards ceremony
