Printing to an OES Printer from a Personal Laptop

 

In order to print to an OES Printer you will need add the drivers for each printer. The process for dong this is unique because you will need to send your print jobs by a method called “http printing”.

 

  1. While on the school network go to the following website.

  1. Use the hyperlink at the bottom of the page, “Next 10 printers” to advance to the page with the US printers.
  2. Once you find a printer you want to add to your list of printers and faxes, click on the printer name.

  1. To install the drivers, click on “Connect” and answer “yes” to the installation questions.  If the process fails, and it will when the printer server is busy, repeat the process.
  2. When the installation is complete, you will now have the printer available as a printer option.  It will not be your default printer.  You will need to select the printer to use it.
